The New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute is accepting applications for its 2013-14 program. Business, civic and public-sector leaders in New Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, Plaquemines, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington and St. James parishes are eligible.

What is NORLI?

NORLI is a program that gives leaders a more thorough understanding of the most pressing issues and an enhanced ability to collaborate for the benefit of the New Orleans Region. Not only is the NORLI leadership program put in place to benefit the New Orleans Region, but it is also beneficial to each participant.

See how NORLI Alumni, Byron Harrell benefited.

The New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute offers an eye-opening experience for participants.  I learned more about the inner workings of my region in one year than I did in the previous ten.  Many of my friends started as NORLI acquaintances and my NORLI network continues to grow and develop because I have stayed involved as an alumni.  If you want to discover why things work the way they do and what we can do to improve our community, NORLI is a terrific place to start.” Byron Harrell, Sc. D., President/CEO, Baptist Community Ministries, Class of 2005

If you’re interested, the deadline to apply is May 3. There is a $35 application fee.
