#TheSocialExchange

As always, we are thrilled to invite you to a new venue with great people, but our April Professional Meet-Up is truly one of a kind. We’re ecstatic to be working with our Alma Mater, Xavier University and students from the Public Relations Dept. to benefit Blessed 26Β with an evening of speed-networking, conversation and cocktails (Happy Hour with special guest host Casey Ferrand from WDSU is 6-7pm!).

The Blessed 26 program provides an intensive and exciting experience for New Orleans disadvantaged youth. The program is designed to assist youth in developing goals and defining what success means for them. It also provides guidance in formulating a plan to attain the personal life skills necessary to achieve their goals.

Youth are often faced with the dilemma of knowing where they want to go but not knowing how to get there. With so many negative choices before them, they need positive direction. Our youth want to be assured that meaningful opportunities in the business world are available to them, and they want the security of knowing they are prepared to take advantage of those opportunities.

Through Blessed 26, participants are challenged to break through barriers, expand their comfort zones, and gain skills to improve their attitudes, their lives and their communities.

So join us at Fulton Alley on Wednesday, April 23 from 6:00 – 9:00pm for some fun for a great cause. You don’t have to bowl to join the party but don’t be surprised if you catch yourself in a lane hoping for a STRIKE!

Donations for Blessed 26 will be accepted throughout the evening.

Please RSVP to morgan@nolablackprofessionals.com by Tuesday, April 22 atΒ 6pm!
