Film Independent’s Project Involve filmmaker mentorship program

Film Independent’s  is now accepting applications for the Project Involve/FHMA Film Fellowship. The program, which runs from October through June, selects talented and highly motivated filmmakers who embody diversity, innovation, and uniqueness of vision.The Project Involve/FHMA Fellowship will provide a $15K grant to one (1) accepted FHMA member to underwrite the cost of participation in the 2016-2017 Project Involve class.

This workshop provides an opportunity for emerging filmmakers to gain an education and experience in the studios filmmaking process. Project Involve and the FHMA partnership aim to augment the creative pipeline of filmmakers from the vast Historically Black Colleges and University community and ensure that more films by diverse filmmakers are produced and distributed.
