  1. Ava DuVernay’s “13th” Film Screening

    Thursday, April 13th at 7 PM – 10 PM

    Filmmaker Ava DuVernay explores the history of racial inequality in the United States, focusing on the fact that the nation’s prisons are disproportionately filled with African-Americans. This thought-provoking documentary features scholars, activists, and politicians as they analyze the criminalization of African Americans and the U.S. prison boom.

  2. Women in Leadership

    NABA & Urban League Metropolitan Seattle Young Professionals have teamed up again to host Women in Leadership -an interactive panel discussion.

    Last year over 90 professional women and men came out to celebrate Women in Leadership. This year we’ve got dynamic leaders from Amazon, Microsoft, Nordstrom, & Seattle-King County Superior Court serving on the panel with Toyia Taylor from We.App serving as the moderator.

    We are in a tax system that does not value people of color and black people and apparently, America does not have equal taxation with representation Also, apparently Rich people Like Donald Trump don’t pay taxes. So it’s time to stand up and say as the people of the United States that everyone pays an equal share of taxes regardless of economic status and that Black people, people of color and marginalized people stop taking such a hard economic blow when paying taxes. We also DEMAND Donald J. Trump to release his tax returns as.we deserve to know if he is financially responsible

  5. BREAKS AND BRUNCH

    Brunch and a live DJ every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm. “Breaks and Brunch” feature appearances by Soul Uno, Supreme La Rock & DV One (the Seahawks Official DJ). Spinning classic soul, funk, Motown & rarities.
