1. Houston Black Restaurant Week 

April 17- April 30

There’s not much explaining to do here we suppose. You can find delicious eats in the casual fine dining category from $15-$25 and FINE dining menus from $35-$45. Go EAT, mingle, try a new restaurant or food truck. Support Black Owned these two weeks like never before and then make it a mission to continue throughout the rest of the year. Set your lunch meetings at these important establishments, spend your special occasions here, just spread the word.

2. FREE Taco Tuesday

Every Tuesday, FREE entry & Tacos, $2 drinks until 10pm, $5 premiums until 9pm, half of food until 12am, $10 hookah…sounds like my diet will be blown each and every #CheatTuesday

3. (TNE) Texas Networking Event

Thursday, April 27

Come network and socialize with entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals in the Texas area on Thursday, April 27 at Concrete Cowboy from 6-9pm. Texas Networking Events allow professionals to grow their network by providing a relaxed environment for them to market themselves or their company effectively.

4. The Maroon & Grey Affair

Top Crisis Communication Strategist and Impetus for popular tv show Scandal to keynote TSU’s Maroon & Gray Affair signature fundraiser.

Judy Smith, president of Smith & Company, a top strategic and crisis communication firm in Washington, DC, will serve as keynote speaker for The Maroon & Gray Affair, a black-tie fund-raiser for Texas Southern University. The gala will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel Houston.
