Geaux Journey Travel Group is inviting young professionals of all ages to join its travel krewe and check Africa off their bucket lists this fall. The New Orleans-based travel krewe is connecting like-minded young professionals for travel journeys of a lifetime, with Egypt being their first stop. This October, they’ll spend two nights in Cairo, three nights cruising down the Nile and two nights in the beautiful beach town of Sharm El Sheikh.

The krewe was founded this year by New Orleans native and travel enthusiast Chantrice Banks, as a way to help family and friends step outside of their comfort zones and experience new cultures. For many of our members, Egypt will be their first passport stamp. I’m so excited and humbled that they chose to be part of this journey.” says Banks.

For many of its members, it’s also been the answer to two very common dilemmas: paying for travel and finding travel companions. Each journey comes with a payment plan, roommate matching and a pre-journey mixer to get acquainted with fellow travelers.

Registration is currently open for the Journey to Egypt, taking place Oct. 24 – Nov. 1. The journey includes 5-star accommodations at The Fairmont Nile CityHilton Cairo Heliopolis and Sonesta St. George, English speaking tour guides, daily meals, sightseeing/admissions fees, and private transfers. The minimum deposit to reserve each spot is only $375.

The krewe is also taking member suggestions for its 2019 trip, with Paris and Thailand currently in the lead.
